To participate in the program, you can visit heritageclassicfoundation.com and make a Birdies for Charity pledge online. Please remember to indicate HILTON HEAD HEROES as your charity of choice when pledging online. We are also including a “Birdies” pledge form. If you choose, you may fill out this form, return it to us at our post office box listed and we will handle making the online pledge for you. Pledge invoices are sent via email once the tournament concludes. Please make sure you provide an email address. If you choose to make a cash donation, checks should be made payable to: The Heritage Classic Foundation and Hilton Head Heroes indicated in the memo line.
This successful program allows Hilton Head Heroes to continue our mission of providing vacations to families with a child suffering from a life threatening illness.
The pledges and donations received through the Birdies for Charity program help fund the Hilton Head Hero House located in the Sea Pines Resort as well as our program expenses. With your generous support and participation, we will continue “making memories that last for a lifetime.”
So, how do you contribute?
There are two choices:
(1) You may choose the amount you want to contribute for each birdie scored during the tournament – Thursday through Sunday. Last year there were 1,321 birdies. If you had pledged just THREE CENTS that would amount to only $39.63. Of course, FIVE CENTS would have cost you only $66.05.
(2) Or, you may donate any amount in one lump sum.

We collect pledges for Birdies for Charity on a year-round basis and hold them until the golf tournament is played. We look forward to receiving your pledge to our most worthwhile cause.
